Hemp seed protein is made up of the globular proteins edestin and albumin, which are extracted from hemp seeds. Edestin is rich in essential amino acids. Hemp seed protein is a great vegan alternative to whey, and it contains a significantly higher concentration of essential amino acids than soy protein.

Blend with Pea Protein for a better Amino Acid profile

Hemp protein (IMO) does not taste great but blended into a protein shake it's tolerable. I include Hemp protein in my diet because it's higher in the essential amino acid Methionine than other plant based protein sources. I mix hemp protein with pea protein to improve the amino acid profile. If you are consuming only plant based proteins it is important to know the amino acid profile of your diet and make sure you are getting all 9 essential amino acids in reasonable balance. Protein from hemp seeds can help balance out protein from legumes and other plant based sources.
