great product with surprising benefit

I bought the product thinking it may help with detoxing the liver and loosing the belly fat. After taking it once per day, not only it fulfilled my original goal but also help you fill more energetic, less fatigue. This sulfur containing amino acids is very powerful and involves with lots of biochemical reactions in the body. Also it is in foods such beef, your body may not adsorbing enough as you age. So supplementing is the way to go.

MTHFR

I have the defective gene MTHFR along with it's enzyme. Mine is not the problem that they say affects 60% of people, but instead the problem that affects the methionine, homocysteine, histamine cycle. 7% of people. Methyl molecules are donated by methionine and never returned like they should be. This causes massive amounts of homocysteine and histamine with inflammation. I figured this out 30 years ago, but only found the right treatment for it in 2010. The supplement that controls this problem is methylcobalamin. Methylfolate, the fixer for the other problem has had no effect on me. But, I still take a 1mg dose. I have come to know that since my appetite is affected, I am not getting enough of the amino acids I need. So taking methionine may be a good addition to my diet, on my way to recovery. Anything that increases methyl donation is good for the brain.

Works well

If you are not absorbing methionine very well from your diet, this may be a good option. The effects can be felt immediately, but be careful about your protein and amino acid intakes, to try to avoid kidney complications.
