Serving Size & Timing
The FDA suggests that Calcium be taken in installments of 1000mg per serving, once or twice per day for healthy adults. It is recommended that this supplement be taken with meals. Calcium Gluconate is made up of about 8.5-9% pure Calcium. This means two servings of this size should be taken per day.

This Calcium Gluconate concentration is pharmaceutical grade and has no fillers whatsoever. It comes in a resealable bag and is meant to be stored in a place free from heat, moisture and light.
CALCIUM GLUCONATE SIDE EFFECTS
No serious side effects are associated with Calcium supplements, but minor side effects may be experienced with overdose, including stomach upset, nausea, irregular heartbeat, headaches and increased frequency of urination. Those who have medical conditions or are taking medications which alter the body‚Äôs ability to absorb Calcium are cautioned from taking this supplement, as it may exacerbate the condition or change the effectiveness of the drug. This supplement may inhibit the body‚Äôs ability to absorb the particular antibiotic tetracycline.
It is recommended that Calcium Gluconate be taken with Vitamin D supplements or in Vitamin D-rich juices, since this will increase its effectiveness and maximize its absorption. Of all of the forms of Calcium supplements, Calcium Gluconate is by far one of the most soluble in liquids and oils.
One of the largest sources of Calcium is in dairy, with just one small serving of dairy containing about 300mg, or 1/4 of the total daily value for Calcium. However, Calcium is also found in many other natural sources such as seaweed, nuts, legumes and quinoa.
