Calcium acetate is a calcium salt that has many unique uses ranging from a dietary supplement to a food stabilizer commonly used in candy. It can be made by soaking calcium carbonate (which can be found in eggshells or limestone) in vinegar and commonly forms into white crystals.
Calcium Acetate may help support the kidneys, cardiovascular system, heart, and bones. It is also commonly used as a supplementary source of calcium.
