Bee Pollen Powder
What is Bee Pollen?
Bee pollen is a mixture of flower pollen, wax, bee saliva, nectar and honey. Often sold as a nutritional supplement, bee pollen contains beneficial compounds that support overall wellness.
Bee pollen is packed full of nutrition — with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, flavonoids, and amino acids. It may have anti-inflammatory properties and may help alleviate minor joint pain. Bee pollen can help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and supports cardiovascular health. It helps support liver health and may help reduce seasonal allergies. When applied topically, it may act as an antibacterial and could assist healing in minor cuts and scrapes. The antibacterial properties may also help fight other types of infections as well, and the pollen content helps support the immune system.

How is Bee Pollen harvested?
Beekeepers will frequently attach small boxes to the hive entrances, affixed with screens. When the bees pass through, the pollen is removed from their legs. They are not harmed in this process, and the keepers are careful to avoid collecting too much pollen from one hive at a time.
