What is Alma?

Amla (Indian Gooseberry) is a superfruit that has been used for thousands of years for its medicinal benefits. Native to India & the middle east, the fruits have a tart-tangy flavor, are yellow-green in color and grow in clusters. Rich in polyphenols (natural antioxidants found in plants), our amla powder is extracted from the fruit of the Emblica Officinalis tree.

Its high vitamin C content supports immune function and promotes healthy hair. It supports healthy skin and is use for anti-aging benefits. It helps support a healthy digestive system, and promotes overall health.

Amla hooked

Although the taste is as described, I don't take amla for the taste. I add it to my morning coffee which seems to be compatible along with my mushroom powders. I am very impressed with the benefits of amla and find that it improves my workouts. I anticipate skin benefits as well...I'm hooked!
