I had been using a stevia that had maltodextrin and recently learned it had like 10 x the glycemic count last thing you want when your trying to avoid sugar , also takes a miniscule amount compared to the other

I suspected that stevia by itself would taste great, and I was right! It taste awesomely sweet! When they mix it with erythritol or something else it taste bitter. I'm well pleased with bulk supplements stevia extract!

This I have been using in place of NOW Better Stevia (pretty much the gold standard, as far as I'm concerned), as it is about 2/3 of the price for pure bulk stevia for nearly the same flawless quality. I know there have been recent complaints (especially, it seems, from Amazon's distribution) of this product being unexpectedly bitter and having a downturn in quality. But so far, what I've ordered directly from Bulk Supplements (at the same price) hasn't had this issue, and it has not let me down yet. Many stevia products I've tried either have a saccharin-like bitterness, or, if not bitter, have a particular kind of "tea-like" aftertaste that imparts off-flavors to foods. This is one of the few products that has neither. The only minor drawback is that it doesn't seem to dissolve quite as well or quickly as the NOW product. However, it still dissolves FAR better than some others I've tried! The only other drawback is the packaging -- the round cannister NOW comes in definitely contains the product better from accidental spills and powder "burps", and is easier to extract the entirely of the product from. But then again, you are probably paying more for that fancy packaging than it if were in a basic foil pack! Overall, I would definitely recommend. Maybe just order directly from Bulk Supplements directly, if it's the same price.
