I know the taste is not the best but it truly does work. I can’t take statins well as they make me sick and raises my liver enzymes. I’ve been taking berberine for a while now and just got my bloodwork done. My cholesterol dropped over 50. It’s just now a bit high. I’ve only been taking berberine once a day but will start it twice a day and hope that will get me down even further…… To help get it down I squirt some orange drink flavoring in it. For me, it works.

Well packed, easy to reclose, easy to measure out. But it's far more bitter than I expected. I tried adding it to coffee and to smoothies. I was just barely able to chug it down without barfing. The intense bitter flavor lasted for hours in my mouth. Guess I need to get some gel capsules and start packing them.

I was hesitant in ordering this because of the reviews on the taste. Sharing what I do so maybe it would help. I use the orange drink enhancer from Walmart and squirt it into my glass with the berberine and stir. For me, it really helps with the bitterness. As for the product, I will be getting my blood checked in a few months and will know if it helped with my cholesterol.
