Great Product! Sodium Ascorbate
I have problems with acid types of Vitamin C. This Sodium Ascorbate is neutral pH and is easily dissolved in water or juice. I use 2 grams in AM and 2 grams in the PM each day. Prevents yearly bout with bronchitis and or sinusitis.*

Love it
You can take big doses of this-very little taste. Maybe a little salty, but not too bad. Fights off colds very well. *

I bought this product after joining the YMCA's water aerobics class. The pool is heavy in chlorine, and I didn't like how it made me, or my bathing suit, smell after a workout. I read that sodium ascorbate is one of the best things to use to neutralize chlorine. I mix it up in a spray bottle and spray it all over my skin and bathing suit when I get out of the pool. I even spray it in my hair. After leaving it in for a minute or so, I soap up in the shower. I have been very pleased with how well this works. When I get home, I soak my suit in a solution of it, and hand wash with a mild detergent, and hang to dry. My house no longer wreaks of chlorine! The product itself dissolves in water easier than the powders I have used in the past. I was pretty happy to find this in bulk and am also pleased with how quickly it arrived on my doorstep. I will definitely be reordering!*

Excellent Product
The quality of this product is excellent. The powder is very pure and easily dissolves completely in water. In terms of taste, when added to a few oz of water I experience no taste at all. Really a fantastic product overall. *

Clean and pure product.
Excellent. You can dissolve it in water and not even taste it. The purity is phenomenal, and I like that it's buffered because it doesn't damage the teeth. The quality from BulkSupplements never lets me down.*

Useful as a Chlorine neutralizer.
I mixed a teaspoon with 4 oz of water in a spray bottle and use is after I swim. It completely removes the Chlorine from my hair and skin instantly. I wish I knew this 20 years ago!*

Sodium Ascorbate for Health
High dose Vitamin C, also known as Orthomolecular Medicine, has been known to heal many diseases and ailments. The only problem is that many people react with an upset stomach to Ascorbic Acid vitamins. What better solution than to get the more gentle Vitamin C in the form of Ascorbate powder right through - great product for a great price, you can't go wrong.*

Glad I found it
After seeing a presentation on the benefits of vitamin c, I was pleased to see that it was available here. Most health food stores done carry sodium ascorbate. Product if great and best mixed with smoothies since it has a slightly salty taste if only in water.*

The best form of Vitamin C
I've tried both the plain Ascorbic Acid and this Sodium Ascorbate and I prefer this best. It doesn't have the sour taste of plain Ascorbic Acid. Also I like the fact that it's buffered. Also I must say that Bulk Supplements has the fasted shipping around!*

So glad I tried Sodium Ascorbate Powder!
I try every day to take 4000-6000 milligrams of Vitamin C. So the best way I found to do that was with taking Ascorbic Acid powder from BS of course! But the AA was really kinda harsh on my stomach so I decided to try the Sodium Ascorbate Powder because it was said to be less acidic and I hoped easier on my stomach and I can tell you it is awesome! I will stick with SA powder from now on! I haven't had any stomach issues from day one since! Thank you so much BS!! I tell all my clients about you! I should advertise you on my website!!!*

Good for mega doses of Vitamin C therapy
I like this Sodium Ascorbate because it is buffered so it's not too acidic. I use it to make Liposomal Vitamin C with Sunflower lecithin.*

Is this product buffered? I see no mention in the description, although some of the reviews do attest to that. The product in question is sodium ascorbate powder. Thanks, Sally
