Great for my dry hacking cough
I first learned about Slippery Elm (and many others) when I had a nasty cough from a cold and I also have COPD. I learned how using Slippery Elm to help loosen the mucus that collects in the respiratory system. A demulcent helps sooth dry, irritated tissues of the respiratory tract, including my stubborn cough. There are many other remedies like the old hot tea and honey and many other herbs that work with slippery elm like Licorice root, Fenugreek, Marshmallow root and a few others. Slippery elm and other demulcent herbs help the body create a mucus film in the throat, airway and the complete digestive tract. It also used in the Indian Ayurvedic medicine. It can easily be mixed with water and heated to make a syrup. *

Slippery Elm
Love this product, it helps when my stomach ulcer starts acting up. Just mix one tsp. in almond milk with half a banana and blend. Do this a couple of times a day and in a week you are well.*
