Bulk Supplements is great, my orders arrived quickly and everything is top quality. I've been a customer for years. The berberine is very bitter, but it is supposed to be that way. I tried mixing the suggested dose in 1/4 cup hot water, adding 1/8 tsp each of ginger root and turmeric extracts (from bulk supplements), and then a packet of hot cocoa mix, whisk or shake well, add liquid: (water, chocolate protein drink, milk, etc.). to make about 6 to 8 oz. I tried a few other ways to mask the taste and found the hot cocoa worked for me. I'm trying berberine to lower my cholesterol, I'm hoping this will work without having the side effects of the statins that I've tried and stopped using due to side effects.
