The Bright Summer and Fall Purple Daisy
Echinacea Is a common daisy, It blooms as a full headed purple coneflower. You will see it blooming just about anywhere in summer and fall gardens. Once planted it will spread much like the spring daffodils. You plant one and two will come up the next growing season. This cone flower is a favorite for birds because they feed off the cones in the fall when the flowers leaves fall off. Echinacea has been used in folk medicine especially with the North American Plains Indians. Once taken like for the common cold, or inflammation It then helps speed up the healing process by boosting your body’s immune system. Remember the Common Cold or Flu is a virus and Echinacea anti-viral.

As with many herbs it also helps reduce pain. It has many benefits but It generally helps you feel better. It helps both general mentally and physical Health. I take it for assistance with my recurring Yeast Infection and whenever I feel my Immune System needs a boost. It also provides an excellent source of Vitamin C.*
