I bought this product bcuz I was vitamin A deficient. At first I was a little annoyed w/the idea that I would have to spend more time preparing gelatin capsules due to the fact that most supplements taste disgusting in powder form. But I can honestly say that I found it to be a relief that this product is very faint in taste. No capsules are necessary! Due to the fact that it came before the estimated date of arrival and appears to have no more or less than what is stated on the website, I'm rating it 5 stars. For once a company w/true integrity behind it's products!

I love this product! I mix it with Jojoba oil for a night cream and I wake up with very soft and glowing skin. I will definitely but this again.

Good Solubility
This particular product (Retinyl Palmitate powder) is very wettable, and the sucrose diluent works quite well without compromising the workability of the powder. In other words, it mixes quickly when added to water but the powder isn't overtly hygroscopic in storage. The instructions here on the product page are a bit vague, as the Directions indicate 55mg. However, the Serving Size suggests 30mg, but states that a Serving contains 41mg of total Carbohydrate so it doesn't add up if I'm reading it correctly. It's a cinch to assay on a spec and back-calculate the actual concentration from the stated I.U. activity though, so no complaints. :) I'm a formulator, so I'm always looking for quality raws. Bulk Supps is usually the first place I check when I need a kg or less of material, and has been for many years because of their consistent quality and reasonable prices.
