What Is Sucralose?
Sucralose is a no-calorie sugar substitute that is made by chlorinating sucrose, which selectively combines chlorine with sucrose atoms. Sucralose is a major ingredient in no-calorie sweeteners, such as Splenda®, and is between 300 and 1000 times sweeter than sucrose.
