Easy to buy

I haven’t used it yet but I am switching to non-caloric Sweeteners and bought a few to try out. Prices were good compared to the grocery stores in my area.

Strong taste, but very sweet

This powder is dark RED, so I wonder if it's an extract; it is more like dried powder fruit. It is sweet, but not 200-300x as sweet as sucrose as tooted, about 10x sweeter. It also has a flavor to it, which is not exactly fruity, not sure how to describe it. It is OK, cannot imagine using it for coffee, tea and smoothie definitely and any fruity cake, but you will need to adapt the quantity to your recipe.

Great, healthy sweetener

It only takes less than a 1/4 teaspoon to sweeten my coffee with no after taste. Healthier than the sweeteners with "itol" at the end, and no carcinogens like Aspartame

Use it for health benefits

I purchased this product not for the sweet but for healthy benefits. I mixed it in water and it has pleasant taste. Also helps to improve the overall taste of the mix of supplements I am mixing in the water.

Bitter and not so sweet

Did a taste test between sugar, green stevia powder and monk fruit power; Monk fruit starts with a very bitter bite and has a malty flavor. I had to use over a tsp to sweeten a cup and a half of tea, although it did blend very quickly; Green stevia was by far the sweetest with a very faint bitter taste that does not linger, but the sweet does. It has a faint grassy flavor. 1/8 of a tsp for 1.5 cup of tea did the job; sugar, no bitter and took 1 tsp. to sweeten the same amount of tea. I have not tried to bake with this but heard it is stable enough to do so. I don't like to bake with stevia, it becomes too grassy flavored.
