What Are the Benefits of Rhodiola Rosea?

Native to the Arctic, rhodiola rosea is a small, yellow flower that boasts powerful health benefits. Also known as arctic root or golden root, rholiola has been used for centuries to boost energy and ease symptoms of stress and fatigue. Some research even suggests it can help you take your workouts to the next level.

Rhodiola contains two compounds called rosavins and salidrosides, which scientists believe are responsible for the herb's health benefits--rosavin, specifically, is believed to calm anxiety by curbing the body’s stress responses, including lowering levels of the stress hormone cortisol.(x)

By lowering cortisol levels, rhodiola can help prevent serious health problems associated with prolonged stress, like weight gain, fatigue, weakened immunity, and hormonal imbalances.

Lowered cortisol levels also have a beneficial effect on mental wellness. Studies show they affect the neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine, which improve mood, focus, and memory.  This makes rhodiola potentially beneficial for treating depression and anxiety: in studies, those who took rhodiola reported significant improvement in their symptoms. Want to get better results at the gym? Try adding rhodiola to your preworkout. Research suggests that it improves workout performance by boosting synthesis of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the body’s main energy currency. (x) It’s been shown to increase your red blood cell count, which improves oxygen flow to the muscles—essential for delaying fatigue, building strong, lean muscle, and getting a great muscle pump. (x)

Rhodiola is also a natural anti-inflammatory, which speeds up recovery by reducing post-workout muscle soreness and protecting your muscles from damage.

If you’re struggling to torch those last few pounds, rhodiola could be your answer. Studies suggest it stimulates an enzyme in your body that burns fat, especially around the abdominal area—good news if you just can't get rid of that spare tire around your middle. It may also help curb cravings for unhealthy snack foods. (x) Pair it with a healthy diet and exercise routine and rhodiola could help you get a trimmer, fitter physique.

Our rhodiola powder dissolves easily in hot liquids. Mix it into coffee or tea for a morning pick-me-up, or add it to your preworkout drink to kick things up a notch at the gym.

Rhodiola Rosea 3% Salidroside Powder: As a dietary supplement, take 200 mg (1/16 tsp) daily, or as directed by a physician.

Rhodiola Rosea 3% Rosavin Powder: As a dietary supplement, take 400 mg (approximately 1/8 tsp) up to two times daily, or as directed by a physician.

Just a kudo's to the BS (sry) team for the great products that you sell.

Question which is better to buy from AMAZON or here at the website?

Looking for some mental and mood boosters to combat sluggishness and mental fatigue at work.

I have the below list for your consideration: (I know your not doctors and you can only use the "may aid" phrase which im fine with but a "second opinion" helps. _ i bought a brain booster from amazon and i let the capsule dissolve in my mouth and it was vitamin e so i read the ingredients and found that Rhodiola is one of the ingredients)

    Bacopa Monnieri (20% Bacosides)
L-Theanine (camella sinesis extract) - already have your product 8oz size- i think
    Ginko Biloba 24% (leaf)
    Rhodiola Rosea Extract 3% Rosavins
    Phosphatidyl Serine 50%
    Huperzine A 1%

Adding the below as a Dopamine booster.

I'd like to buy them all at one shot but again asking is it better here or on AMAzon.

      Hello James!

It's really up to you, whether you'd like to order from our website or Amazon! Although, any shipping questions or issues you might have on AMZ would have to be addressed by them. They're responsible for fulfillment from their own warehouses, and we have limited access to that information. If you're unsure about anything on our website, though, we're always an email or call away.

For what you described, we would strongly recommend trying out Rhodiola first - you may even want to look into the 3% Salidroside over the Rosavin. It may help with the fatigue and any of the brain fog you may feel throughout the day (in my personal experience, it gives me a "clean" energy without the jitters from caffeine). It's also been shown to help with stress and anxiety, which is always an added bonus!

Try that out with L-Tyrosine and see how that treats you. We definitely don't recommend stacking too many things at once until you observe how your body reacts and what dosages you feel comfortable at - it may take a little trial and error, but patience is key. Hope this helps!
