As with any supplement, women who are pregnant or nursing should first discuss use with their physician. Do not take this supplement if you suffer from any legume allergy.
Due to the increased fermentation of carbohydrates, some gastrointestinal discomfort may occur, such as gas, bloating or constipation. These effects are temporary and should subside within time.
I've noticed that if I take this with a carb-rich meal, it seems to cut down on blood sugar fluctuations and water retention that I usually get. I've not had any bowel side-effects. *

I've gone through cutting cycles successfully a lot, and since it's only been about 1/8 of the time into my normal transition, I'll just say take my words with a grain of salt.
The taste is pleasant. I like soy products, and this just reminds me of that. The daily recommended dosage is not high, though, so I use it only as I feel it's needed - and only once a day.
I eat generally healthy, but I do not hate carbs. Then again, I train a lot, and I'm very mindful about food. If you consider yourself athletic and have had good personal experiences with dieting, I say give this a shot. It does seem to make things easier for me this time around, but I did not cheat anymore because I use this. I don't expect it to block carbs. I only expect it to slow down the processing of them. It's a great tool, but it does not replace fundamental nutrition.

This is a sweet-smelling powder with a mild taste. I'm on a carb-restricted diet and thought this could help me eat more carbs. It didn't; it's actually more than half carb. If you're eating a carb-rich diet, this could be more helpful for you.*
