Soy Protein Isolate Powder
- Free of additives & preservatives
- Rich amino acid source
- 90% pure protein source
An alternative to whey, Soy Protein Isolate is one of the few high quality plant-based proteins currently on the market. Its comparable amino acid profile is notably higher in glutamine and arginine, both of which are essential in metabolic processes and muscle formation.
Isolate is considered the most "pure" type of protein, standardized to contain at least 90% pure protein. Because much of the carbohydrates are removed during this process, the soybean taste is less potent (making it ideal for more mixing and varied consumption).
Serving Size & Timing
The generally recommended serving size of soy protein is 15 to 30 grams daily. However, the dosage can vary depending on the person's build and body weight, rate of metabolism and size.

SOY PROTEIN ISOLATE SIDE EFFECTS
While side effects are few and far between, taking this supplement beyond its recommended dose may cause nausea, stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhea, fatigue and reduced appetite. Those with soy allergies, hypothyroidism or kidney problems should not take this product. Soy protein should not be used as a substitute for baby formula under any circumstances, and pregnant and nursing women should first consult a physician before consumption.
I ordered the wrong protein, i was going to get whey but got soy instead. It tastes like soy and is a bit thicker/grainier than i planned for. It disperses very well in room temp water. Do not use cold liquids to disperse. Banana easily masks any taste from the soy if you want to cover it up. I usually mix in water then add milk and any other fruits.*
