Taking too much Garlic may result in gas build-up, upset stomach, other gastrointestinal problems as well as a generally more odorous body. This includes bad breath. Taking too much Garlic can also interfere with protease inhibitors.
Those who are taking any kind of anticoagulant drugs should speak with a medical professional before attempting to take a course of Garlic Extract, as Garlic possesses anti-clotting properties which may interfere with these medicines, particularly with Warfarin. Also, those who are nursing or pregnant, or those who are scheduled to undergo surgery soon should discuss using Garlic Extract with a doctor beforehand.
Garlic is hypoglycemic, meaning that those who have diabetes or other conditions which may alter blood sugar levels should always discuss use of Garlic Extract with a physician.
This product is not water soluble; if not contained in gel capsules, it will have a strong garlic taste. The potential for gastrointestinal problems increases if taken on an empty stomach, so it is recommended that this extract be taken with a meal and plenty of water. When finished, this product should be stored in an area that is free from light, heat and moisture.
I was hesitant to order this powder because of the garlic odor. After trying for two weeks 650 mg a day I could say there is no trace of garlic odor left during the day.
1. I drink the juice of one presley pouch.
2.I eat 8oz of plain yogurt.
3. Dental flaw, brush my teeth, scrape my tongue and water pick.
4. 1 listerine strip.
Even when I kiss my girlfriend she does not smell any garlic odor.
I strongly recommend this product for all it's health benefits.

Received this about 2 weeks ago and have been using 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon per day, usually sprinkled on my eggs in the morning.About 30 minutes after eating I've noticed increased vascularity on my arms, lower abs, and upper thighs. This confirms reports I've read about Garlic's ability to increase nitric oxide . Not only does this stuff make everything you put it on taste better, it also makes me look like I just worked out and have a "pump". I'll definitely be buying this again.*

The dry garlic extract is surprisingly easy to tolerate. Taken raw, it has almost no taste. A sharp flavor is detected only after it starts to dissolve in the mouth. Even then, it can be swallowed with only a very slight burning sensation. Easily sprinkled on food, it is a fine, light brown powder. It is not odorless. *

The only reason I give this product a mediocre rating is because there is no standardized amount of allicin. I realize it would be more expensive that way but there is allready a competetive market for this product. No complaints. Pure and high value as always.*

I use this extract. I like to take around 600 mg twice a day for overall health and blood pressure etc. I do chop up one full clove of garlic at night and just swallow with water. In the middle of the day, I'm not home so that isn't feasible so I just use 1/4 tsp of this extract before lunch. It is convenient, has garlic taste and is working. If you can't always get raw garlic, (cooked garlic loses a lot of properties), this is a great substitute.*
