Calcium Lactate is a chemical compound produced when Calcium Carbonate combines with Lactic acid. It is frequently used as a food additive as well.

Calcium Lactate is also used as a food additive, particularly as an important ingredient in baking powder. It is the chemical compound added to fresh fruits and vegetables to increase their shelf life.

I read that regular toothpaste actually de-mineralizes tooth enamel, so I started making my own toothpaste. I use 3 parts calcium lactate, 1 1/2 parts magnesium gluconate, 2 parts baking soda, 2 parts xylitol (blended into powder so it dissolves), 4 parts coconut oil and then the essential oils.
I vary these among peppermint, clove, tea tree oil and bitter orange. I always use clove and tea tree for the health benefits. I am really pleased with all of the products I have received from Bulk Supplements.*

Am using this product to balance the dosage of magnesium & calcium, using caution with proportions due to recent research finding some calcium supplements contribute to calcification of the arteries.
As always, quality products & service from Bulk Supplements. Thanks.*

I have difficulty finding supplements that work for me, because I have numerous allergies. I was so happy to find a pure calcium lactate product, without added ingredients. I definitely have to take it with meals to avoid stomach upset, but otherwise this has been a great product for me.*

Some of us tend to be naturally amped or "wired" for hyper-excitatory mental and neuromuscular responses to everyday life! It's awfully nice when one discovers another helpful calming nutrient. Having a comprehensive protocol of numerous stacked amino acids, inhibitory neurotransmitters, herbs, extracts and botanical adjuncts, I was surprised and delighted to find that simple calcium lactate exerts a significant relaxing effect upon my brain and entire neural system. I appreciate the excellent service and broad selection offered @ Bulk Supplements.com. Thanks!*
