Beta Carotene 1% (CWS) Powder
Beta-Carotene contains Vitamin A and has a yellow-orange pigment that gives the distinctive color to certain fruits and vegetables such as pumpkins, carrots, sweet potatoes, oranges, tomatoes, bananas and squash. It is also the pigment that gives the bright orange color to cooked lobsters and the pink color to salmon and flamingos.

In addition to its role as an antioxidant, it also has a high ph and UV and heat resistance. BETA-CAROTENE 1% SIDE EFFECTS
Beta-Carotene is essentially safe and greatly lowers the chances of acute toxicity that might occur if using a direct Vitamin A supplement. However, it is not without occasional side effects such as upset stomach, nausea and jaundice. These effects can be controlled by simply lowering the dosage.
Taking too much Beta-Carotene could actually raise the risks of developing other forms of cancer as well as heart disease. Frequent smokers or drinkers should consult with a health care professional before considering this supplement. Women who are pregnant or nursing and individuals expected to undergo heart surgery should avoid Beta-Carotene.
