Bearberry Leaf naturally contains glycosides, such as arbutin, ericolin and methylarbutin. It also contains many flavonoids such as ellagic acid, malic acid, tannins and ursolic acid.

Serving Size & Timing

This Bearberry supplement has no fillers or additives and is derived using a process of 4:1 extraction. The powdered product has a tan color to it and should be stored in an area away from light, heat and moisture.
BEARBERRY LEAF SIDE EFFECTS
Be warned that using Bearberry Leaf powder over an extended period of time may result in liver damage, and it should not be used by individuals suffering any kind of kidney or digestive disease.
The hydroquinones present in Bearberry Leaf supplement may cause the urine to take on a greenish hue, but this is not dangerous in any way. Side effects that may present themselves in short-term use include a variety of mild gastrointestinal issues like nausea, vomiting and stomach upset; some may experience dizziness, insomnia, increase in heart rate and general irritability as well. Taking too much at once can also result in trouble breathing, brief tinnitus, convulsions, delirium and even collapse. Do not take lightly or without knowing what you are doing.
Bearberry should be avoided by any woman that is nursing or pregnant, and children should also avoid it unless specifically consulting with a doctor first. In addition, individuals should avoid taking Bearberry Leaf with any acidic or Vitamin C-rich food or drink (such as anything involving citrus fruits). Any prolonged use of acidic agents should be ceased before taking a course of Bearberry.
