It's only been a couple weeks, but I'm already seeing lovely improvements! I used to take Hydrolyzed Collagen to help with sore joints as well as hair, skin and nail health, but have decided to transition to a fully vegan lifestyle, and no longer want to use a product made out of cow ligaments. I am so lucky that my search for an alternative brought me to bamboo silica! It actually seems to work much better than the collagen did anyway. My knees are springy, my skin is soft and smooth, and my hair is growing like a weed. I also love that bamboo is an incredibly sustainable plant and does not contribute to deforestation and agricultural pollution. I can't wait to see what the results will be in a few months! I like to put the powder into teas, soups, and even things like oatmeal etc... *

The herbal source of silica that most people know is horsetail, One can take horsetail, but that herb can have other pharmacological effects that may be unwanted. I prefer bamboo. It has a much higher percentage of silica and, to my knowledge, no side effects to worry about.

I was looking for a way to integrate a natural source of silica into my diet. I had bad knees for a long time and I've been supplementing with Bamboo Extract and Hydrolyzed Collagen for about two years now. The Extract I got from Bulk Supplements was much cleaner than sources from some other companies. It's whiter and less gritty I've noticed. Better price too :D.

Ordered this product for my spouse. After one day of use (taken at night with other bulk supplement items) noticed her skin on face looking more supple. After 3 days she noticed her hair wasn't falling out as bad! So I decided to try as well ( only take EOD) and my hair too stopped falling out! Wonderful product, thank again!*

I ordered bamboo extract powder as a source of silica to help with bone and collagen strength. It contains a significantly greater percentage of silica compared to the horse tail supplement I used to take. The powder appears very pure and tastes fresh. It is however too son to tell its effect.*

As a manufacturer of a women's formula we want only the best ingredients. We could not find pure silica anywhere else. Bulk Supplement's contains no fillers or maltodextrin which can cause bloating. We use silica as a bonus ingredient in the supplement we manufacture, on the basis that it is a body essential mineral that acts to maintain and restore skin elasticity, adding to the many other potential health and anti-aging benefits of our formula. It is also known as "nature's internal cosmetic." *

Many people seek to improve the health of their hair and nails with bamboo extract, bamboo extract contains silica, it can help your body to produce collagen. Collagen is the connective tissue in your body and has many other functions...for me I got this in hopes of improvement of my joints, it's to early to tell if it is effective as it take time to build and rebuild collagen, but I can tell that this bamboo extract has been somewhat beneficial against inflammation in my joints. So if it's good enough for pandas then that's good enough for me!*

I recently have been diagnosed with Osteopenia,
I am taking Bamboo Extract to help my bones.
Supplementing with Bamboo Extract is a great way to ensure healthy intake and nourish the vital tissues that depend on this essential nutrient. You probably already know horsetail grass is a great source of natural silica, but it's nothing compared to bamboo. While horsetail is about 7% silica by weight, bamboo boasts an average 70% all-natural silica concentration! The average healthy adult maintains approximately 20 grams of silica within the body, but that level tends to drop with age due to reduced assimilation and other factors.*
